Words we use
These guides use a small set of words. Each one is explained here in one place.
Aerial Lot
Section titled “Aerial Lot”The Aerial Lot is the home screen of House. It shows a picture of your house. Each room you can open is a part of that picture. The guide Getting started shows how to open a room.
A room is one space in your House home, with its own tools. Vonkara lives in the Office, Heldaro in the Vault and Kragara in the Study. Each room works on Free and has paid plans that unlock more.
Household
Section titled “Household”A household is the private space your subscription and your information live in. You only see your own household’s information. The guide Your household says more.
Subscription
Section titled “Subscription”A subscription is a paid plan for one room, billed each month. A room that has no subscription is on Free. Free is not a trial and has no countdown. The guide Your subscription explains how billing works.
Free means a room works without a subscription, with no card needed. A paid plan unlocks more of the room you use most.
House companion
Section titled “House companion”The house companion is the help panel inside House. It tells you where you are, what you can do there and how the rooms fit together. It also links to email support. The guide Getting help shows how to open it.
