  sitemap.xml - https://www.sterryk.com  (HOUSE-R-149)

  Served by house-web's :8080 block (web/Caddyfile, the @crawler_files arm) as a real static file.
  Lives in apps/shell/public/ because Vite copies that tree verbatim into apps/shell/dist, which
  web/Dockerfile bakes to /srv/shell. Editing it needs a house-web REBUILD, not just a Deploy.

  NO <lastmod>, <changefreq> OR <priority>, DELIBERATELY. A hand-maintained lastmod is a published
  claim with no mechanism behind it - it would be wrong the first time a page changed and nobody
  remembered this file, which is the exact "claim stronger than its mechanism" shape the estate
  keeps finding. Google ignores changefreq/priority outright and discounts an untrustworthy
  lastmod. Omitting all three costs nothing real and cannot go stale.

  WHAT IS DELIBERATELY ABSENT:
    * /login, /signup - transactional, not content. Crawlable (no Disallow), just not advertised.
    * /account, /app/*, /replay, /verify-email, /reset-password, /forgot-password - private or
      fail-closed; Disallowed in robots.txt.
    * /werf-proof, /lot-proof - unlinked engineering proofs, Disallowed in robots.txt.
    * /security, /changelog - THESE ARE NOT WWW PAGES. They live on trust.sterryk.com. Probing
      2026-08-20 showed www.sterryk.com/security returning the SPA shell with Cache-Control:
      no-store, byte-identical to www.sterryk.com/nonexistent-xyz - a soft-200, not a page. A
      sitemap may only list URLs on its own host, so they cannot be listed here; trust.sterryk.com
      needs its own robots.txt + sitemap.xml (filed separately, it has neither today).

  The docs URLs mirror apps/docs/src/content/docs/**/*.md(x) under Astro's base='/docs' +
  trailingSlash:'always'. Each docs page already emits its own rel=alternate hreflang pair in the
  HTML head (Starlight), so no xhtml:link alternates are needed here.

  tools/check_sitemap.py holds this file, robots.txt, the SPA router and the docs tree in agreement.
